'From its humble beginnings on the basketball courts to becoming a regular fixture in popular culture time and time again, the Superstar has truly become royalty in sneaker culture. Since its introduction to the game in 1969, the Superstar has gone from hardwood floors to concrete streets to red carpets and back again. Like many of adidas’ most revered archive silhouettes, the Superstar was originally released under ‘La marque aux 3 bandes’ and manufactured in the Detwiller area of East France. Warming up to the Superstar’s 45th anniversary in 2015, adidas Originals have teamed up with Ateliers Heschung, a family run factory who manufactured shoes for adidas France in the 1970s, to create a special ‘Made in France’ Consortium edition of this much loved silhouette. Constructed in luxurious premium leather, the Superstar’s upper is stitched to its distinctive rubber toe cap and tooling with traditional hand-held techniques. In keeping with the original, the three stripes and unbranded heel-tab are executed in smooth black leather whilst the crisp white upper is complimented by a subtle vintage ivory tone throughout the shell-toe, outsole and soft leather lining.'

Hand sewn from a single piece of english suede or leather, this shoe is left on the last for ten days where light steam is used to tighten the leather, ensuring superior shape and fit. The Biotrainer Mid features a heel counter that has been molded from high-grade leather typically reserved for English dress shoes. The buffalo leather footbed provides padding, absorbs moisture & breathes without retaining sweat or odor. 
The unique sole of the FEIT Biotrainer is made of natural latex rubber from the milk of the hevea brasiliensis (rubber tree) plant. The milk is harvested by hand and poured into steel molds immersed in warm water. After one hour the sole is transferred into a cold water immersion bath that lasts up to 24 and helps to keep the rubber pores open while the material cures."

The story of EIGHT & BOB began in 1937 when Albert Fouquet, the son of a Parisian aristocrat created and perfected various essences for his own personal use. Fouquet would surprise his guests, who were all part of an exclusive social circle and raised the demand for his fragrance but rejected several proposals to market his product. One night during his summer holiday in 1937 Albert meet John F. Kennedy, who was still a student at the time. J.F.K. was the first person to persuade Albert to give him a sample of his fragrance. When John F. Kennedy arrived back in the US, he sent a thank you letter to Albert, asking him to send "eight more bottles and one for Bob". Unfortunately the success did not spread much further when Albert died in a car accident in 1939. His former butler Philippe, who helped Albert with creating the fragrance from the very beginning, was the only one who could handle additional orders, but with the start of WW2, he was forced out of France. To hide the formula from the Nazis, he decided to place the fragrances inside books. Decades later, thanks to the family of Philippe, the formula of "EIGHT & BOB" has been recovered along with its carefully crafted production process.
