On our trip to Amsterdam last week we visited the beautiful Conscious Hotel Vondelpark, a stylish eco-design hotel in the heart of Amsterdam closely located to the urban pleasure Vondelpark. The well-designed and modern interior gives the hotel a young and edgy character appealing to independent cosmopolitan travellers who are keen to try out something different.
The Conscious hotel strives to be as green, sustainable and eco-friendly as possible, being kind to the planet while still being modern and design-oriented.
We highly recommend the Conscious Hotel and think it is worth a visit when going to Amsterdam.

'By Mölle' was founded in 2011 by the sisters Eveline and Marianne Maat with the vision to produce products that are only made of natural materials crafted in Europe. For their beautiful blankets and cushions, they use wool from North European sheep, flax that grows at the Atlantic coast and recycled old jeans. No wonder that even their packaging is made from recycled materials. We love their conscious and cosy products and are proud to feature their work on our page.
In a world full of bad smelling, cheap and uninteresting perfumes, Le Labo has established itself as a producer of exclusive fragrances. Their made-to-order products are freshly hand-blended in their New York lab boutique, in front of their customers. In addition to their fragrances, they have developed a collection of vintage candles. This line has been created in a truly original and creative packaging that uses aged tin and crosscut kraft. Neue Werkstatt is an interdisciplinary collective, working in the dope of alternative production and graphic shapes. ‘We design, manufacture and distribute in close collaboration with local craftsmen and businesses. Simple design and high quality have the same status as ecological production and transparency.’ The collective was founded in 2013 by graphic and product designers Moritz Fuhrmann, Peter Kraft and Jochen Maria Weber. Simplicity meets elegancy and functionality. We are thrilled by the aesthetic of their products and can’t wait to see what they are going to design next.

MY KILOS is an aspiring label by design studio 45 KILO that focuses on the serial production of selected design products. 45 KILO was founded by Philipp Schöpfer and Daniel Klapsing in 2007, who concentrate their work on furniture and interior design. Their designs are simple and reduced to the essential but conceptualised to an optimum – stylish yet functional. Products that exude a unique, straightforward language.

Score + Solder was founded in 2009 by British-Columbia based designer Matthew Cleland. Matthew started his collection with handmade terrariums and planters and just recently extended it with six table lamps. Each piece of his products is designed and crafted by the founder himself. We really like the simple and clean designs, its elegancy and uniqueness.
