The Seoul based designer, Jeonghwa Seo, created a range of stationery pieces each carved from natural stones in Jeju, the largest island in South Korea. The collection comprises a paper weight, coasters, a bookend, a pen holder, a pen tray and a business card tray. The items nicely mimic and reflect their surrounding: the island’s coastal rock formations, the 386 volvanic peaks as well as the typical pathways and gate posts found across the island.

The range was developed as part of a design project supported by the Korea Craft and Design Foundation, a public institution founded to establish the identity of Korean creative arts.

The Full Moon Lamp is designed by Cédric Ragot for French furniture brand Roche Bobois. The design brand had given free rein to the French industrial designer to create a collection led by what Ragot called a ‘free composition’. The Full Moon Lamp is one of the designs in a range of beautiful objects rich in eclectic influences, creativity and aesthetic.

From industrial design to interiors, the work of Cédric Ragot pushes the boundaries of the contemporary arts and has been hailed as some of the most innovative work to be created by his generation. His ability to blend creative imagination with innovative technical solutions led to furniture and accessory designs that will hopefully bear the imprint of his talent long into the future.

We’d love to spend our summer in Maison Kamari – a cosy, beautifully designed 180 sqm house on the island of Paros. Designed by local Greek architects, this welcoming, minimalist white home boasts an amazing 300 sqm terrace that overlooks both the valley and sea.

The property's main house features an enormous open kitchen / dining room / living space, along with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. A separate guesthouse offers a third bedroom. Each room has been designed to respect the privacy of its guests – the bedrooms are separated from each other, and the bathrooms are all ensuite. The rooms have been furnished with extraordinary luxury to ensure guests have quality sleep and rest. Enormous care was put into the design – both interior and exterior – in order to make the house as cosy, welcoming, enjoyable, and comfortable as possible.

LAURA BILDE - The Mammut Table

Alex Rückheim

Playfully sculptural – the Mammut Table by 26-year-old talented Danish designer Laura Bilde. This beautiful coffee table emanated from the idea of creating a design where three contrasting natural materials and textures come together to interact in harmony.

Laura Bilde is a furniture and interior designer from Aarhus. Her work is characterised by exploratory simplicity – a design approach where she translates new materials into both aesthetic and functional objects.

YSTUDIO - 'The Weight of Words'

Alex Rückheim

We introduced you to Taiwanese design studio, Ystudio, last year. Today, we are happy to announce that founders Yi and Yanko are expanding their range of simplistic, meticulously crafted stationery objects to include two new pens: The ‘Weight of Words’ collection will see the release of The Classic Sketching Pencil and The Classic Ballpoint Pen. The two new additions are made from brushed brass and will be available from April 1st.

‘The Weight of Words’
Yi and Yanko wish to remind us of the beautiful things that have been forgotten as time goes by. “The meaning of writing to modern people has gradually changed […] Writing has evolved from a way to convey words to a medium to express emotions. ‘Weight’ represents not only a deep emotion, but it also stands for a meaningful commitment: deep, heavy and indelible.”

Manufactured in scorching heat with temperatures of more than one thousand degrees, Ystudio’s stationery pieces are handcrafted by local masters using traditional manufacturing techniques. Material: Brass. Price €70-90.

KRISTINA KROGH - Limited Edition Art Prints

Guest User

A few weeks ago i was introduced to Kristina Krogh's limited edition art prints and liked them immediately. The geometric shapes, colors and textures convinced me. Especially the photography is outstanding and a great fit for Goods We Like.

Her inspiration comes from places and objects that surrounds her; a beautiful old parquet, a marble floor in a church, stained glass windows, a bike ride through the streets of Copenhagen – among many other things.

You should definitely get your hand on one of these prints and check out more unique design on her website.

Spitsberg is a product design studio based in Amsterdam, founded by Jeroen van Leur and Thijmen van der Steen. They aim to discover how to make our surroundings lighter, in all senses of the word.

'We venture to discover how to make our surroundings lighter, in all senses of the word. To build a place that is not about abundance, but about clarity and simplicity, a luxury we embrace.'

These delicate lights create an intimate atmosphere and can be used in dining- and bedroom alike. The misty screen of thin fabric stretched around a ash wooden ring captures the light and spreads it out in a soft tone. The light is designed and made by hand with great care, and affection for refined details.
