Uniform Wares – Modern Watchmaking

Founded in 2009 by Patrick Bek and Oliver Fowles, Uniform Wares set out to create high-quality watches that express unique ‘character and distinction through intelligent design, not branding’. In response to today’s pervasiveness of over-embellished statement watches, Uniform Wares decided to design and craft minimal timepieces. The result, a collection that rejects the unnecessary; a non-branded watch, that has no logo on the dial to make the design speak for itself. Every watch is developed in their London-based design studio, and assembled with meticulous attention to detail by their Swiss manufacturer.
The M37 is a two-hand watch in Uniform Wares’ signature M-Line case design at, as the name suggests, 37mm diameter. The ultra-minimal watch is made of 316L stainless steel, bead-blasted, brushed PVD black bezel, features scratch-resistant sapphire glass and a Swiss made quartz Ronda 762 movement. Price £240.

Moritz Lorenz and Max Crämer create ultra wearable products in the european workshop. Their rapture for unique fabrics and a modest style is the DNA of their collection. Highest standards and finest quality are used in the process of manufacturing their products. ATF is born in Germany, 2012.

Hemsley London: Signature Handcrafted Leather Bags

British brand Hemsley London stands for quality craftsmanship. Founded by up and coming handbag designer Jayne Hemsley, the eponymous label seeks to combine fashion-led, premium quality accessories with concealed tech-innovation. Both the Derby Backpack and Mini Co1 are made of fine Italian calf leather and feature a calf suede lining. The Derby Backpack’s double-shoulder strap makes it ideal for cycling; and its flip-open front panel allows easy access to an iPad. The clean-lined Mini Co1 is a more versatile concept bag. Adjustable to any given situation, it can be worn as a backpack or shoulder bag, across the body or carried by hand.

adidas ZX 500 – Made in Germany Pack

The brand with the three stripes, adidas, pays homage to its rich German heritage with the release of their ’Made in Germany’ pack. As the name suggests, both the ZX 500 and Stan Smith are crafted in Germany. Inspired by its Bavarian roots, the two iconic silhouettes are constructed from premium deer leather and feature a ’Buck Head’ embossing on the tongue. The ’Made in Germany’ pack will release at selected retailers in white on March 7, while black will launch on May 23.

ANALOG IMPRESSIONS - FILIPPA K. SS15 COLLECTION

One of Sweden's leading clothing brand Filippa K. launched its new collection and we were lucky enough to get our hands on a few pieces of the minimalistic. There is a strong focus on tactile, exclusive materials, including several blends with linen and tencel. To those of you who don't know tencel: It's a eco-friendly, natural fiber, similar to rayon in feel and we highly appreciate the future forward approach of Filippa K. to include more sustainable materials in their collection. The colour card consists of a base of warm greys and beige tones tinted with grey, perfect for this year's spring. Blues range from light dustyblue to indigo and a dark blue-grey. adidas Consortium 10th Anniversary Superstar Pack

The adidas Consortium Series is a capsule collection of Superstars introduced in 2005 as part of adidas Originals’ 35 years celebration of one of its most iconic silhouettes: the Superstar. Ten years on, the 10th Anniversary series celebrates to what Consortium has become: A high-quality mark of its own widely appreciated from the most renowned brands and retailers in the sneaker industry. This series sees adidas team up with five most sought after collaboration partners to re-approach the design of this icon.

The adidas Consortium Superstar x Adi Dassler was once created as homage to the brand’s founder. Their 10th Anniversary Superstar flips the colourway with a premium soft black leather upper complimented by white leather heel tab and lateral Three-Stripes.

The second release sees adidas team up with no other than long-time partner Undefeated. The adidas Consortium 10th Anniversary Superstar x UNDFTD features an all white leather upper with reptilian detailing, complemented by an off white leather lining.

Pre-releases at UNDFTD, No42 Paris and No74 Berlin on January 30. The pack will release globally at selected Consortium retailers on January 31.
