ANALOG IMPRESSIONS - FILIPPA K. SS15 COLLECTION

Guest User

analog2_2.jpg

One of Sweden's leading clothing brand Filippa K. launched its new collection and we were lucky enough to get our hands on a few pieces of the minimalistic. There is a strong focus on tactile, exclusive materials, including several blends with linen and tencel. To those of you who don't know tencel: It's a eco-friendly, natural fiber, similar to rayon in feel and we highly appreciate the future forward approach of Filippa K. to include more sustainable materials in their collection. The colour card consists of a base of warm greys and beige tones tinted with grey, perfect for this year's spring. Blues range from light dustyblue to indigo and a dark blue-grey. Accents are sharp blue, sporty deep green and warm yellow. Make sure to check out the collection on their website or in one of Filippa K's retail locations.

SANDWICHBIKES - SUSTAINABLE TRANSPORTATION

Guest User

"Every part of the Sandwichbike is designed solely for this bike and manufactured with great care for the product as well as the environment. But where does it all come from?

The wood used for the Sandwichbike’s frame is beech plywood. Harvested in Germany, near a small town called Brakel to be exact. The factory producing the plywood is established right there, so there’s no need to drag trees all across the continent to get the Sandwichbike its frame.

A new Sandwichbike comes from mature wood, since the beech trees are harvested from the age of about 120 years. The forest they come from has been sustainably managed for more than 200 years, meaning no more wood is harvested than can be regrown again. This gains our plywood a PEFC certification. You can also customize your own Sandwichbike on their website."
