001 - THE COMPASS by SIMON&ME

The compass is produced and assembled in Germany, and is hand-numbered in Berlin. True to its very nature, the compass is one of the most simplistic utility accessories to be found. Together with a genuine leather strap, it may also be worn as a necklace. Nicely wrapped in white paper, each compass comes in a carefully embossed SIMON&ME packaging.

DIAMOND LIGHTS BY ERIC THERNER

The ‘Diamond Lights’ represent the expertise, craftsmanship and creativity of Eric Therner. They are the product designer’s first creation. The Diamond Lights integrate sculptural design with great functionality. At the beginning they have been designed, produced and sold all by the designer itself but since now, the Danish design agency FRAMA is producing and distributing them. The diamond shape sets the light apart and makes it special while giving it a charismatic still classy look.  The Diamond Lights pretty up every interior and also our store in Berlin. They are a great additional design that can be chosen with or without a lamp holder and lamp cord, as you like it.

Simple and clean design objects by Marika Giacinti

The bottle and cup are two modern and simple designs from the home design collection of French artist Marika Giacinti. The two objects are made of white mat and light grey glazing porcelain and pretty up ever interior. Both design objects look perfect on their own and create a certain elegance. But you can also use the bottle as a vase or candle stand and the cup for your tea, coffee or plants. We like the modern and clean design combined with the great craftsmanship.

SPACES by Nils Frahm

SPACES is the latest album of Berlin-based musician and composer Nils Frahm; a true expression for his love for experimentation. The album is solely created out of live recordings, taken from over thirty live concerts, and recorded over the past two years giving each track a unique tone and touch. His repeating patterns of synthesisers and electronic sounds and structures are intriguingly embedded in his classic melodies. Although almost studio-like in its meticulousness, applause, noise, coughs and cell phones humorously remind us of the opposite. Patchworked together with moments both light and dark, and with different types of ambience, it‘s easy to forget about time and space and just lose yourself in this genuine experience. The result is a wonderful, intimate album that has certainly raised the bar for everything yet to come.
